Biotrend Energy, a subsidiary of Doğanlar Holding, was established in 2017 with the aim of making investments in alternative energy production, as well as becoming a technological production and application center. Biotrend Energy has a total of 17 facilities, including 9 integrated waste management and BES, 6 BES (biomass power plants), 1 solid fuel preparation and 1 greenhouse facility, including those with ongoing investments by the end of 2022.
It meets the energy needs of hundreds of thousands of households by converting garbage into electricity in a total of 6 regions, 11 provinces and 19 facilities.Biotrend Energy, which works non-stop to leave a clean and sustainable world to future generations, continues to be one of the pioneers of the sector by growing its portfolio day by day.
As of the end of 2023, the total power of the pre-licenses and licenses owned by Biotrend Energy; 181.3 MWe, and its installed power reached 99.2 MWe.In the light of all these data, Biotrend Energy is one of the biggest players in the Turkish biomass market according to the license and pre-license powers and installed power capacity of the company.
